Former President Donald Trump, tech mogul Elon Musk, and Musk’s son X Æ A-Xii made a viral appearance at UFC 314 in Miami, drawing massive attention as they entered the Kaseya Center on Saturday night to chants of “USA” and waves of MAGA hats.
Accompanied by UFC President Dana White and his granddaughter Kai Trump, Trump’s presence electrified the crowd. A video of the trio arriving quickly went viral across social media, with fans dubbing them the “power trio.” Musk’s young son, affectionately called “Little X,” was seen riding on his father’s shoulders earlier in West Palm Beach.
The event was a political spectacle, with several top Trump administration figures present, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Senator Ted Cruz, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., FBI Director Kash Patel, DNI Tulsi Gabbard, and senior aides Steven Cheung and Taylor Budowich.
Trump was frequently featured on the jumbotron during the sold-out UFC event, receiving thunderous applause. He danced briefly to “YMCA,” interacted with fans and fighters, and shared a light moment with Musk ringside.
The main event featured a featherweight title bout between Alexander Volkanovski of Australia and Brazil’s Diego Lopes. UFC 314 marked the fourth time the event took place in Miami—a city that strongly supported Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
This appearance was Trump’s first at a UFC match since his second inauguration in January 2025, following his recent visit to the LIV Golf Tournament. Known for his affinity with sports culture, Trump has also attended the Super Bowl and Daytona 500 in recent years.
Speaking aboard Air Force One before the event, Trump joked, “You know who’s going to win? Dana White.”
Analysts suggest Trump’s continued presence at major sporting events like UFC has strengthened his appeal among younger male voters, a key demographic in his 2024 re-election campaign.
