In a decisive operation within the past 24 hours, U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) forces have successfully neutralized four Houthi radars and an uncrewed surface vessel (USV) in Houthi-controlled territories of Yemen.
Moreover, USCENTCOM forces effectively intercepted and destroyed an Iranian-backed Houthi uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) over the Red Sea. No injuries or damage were reported by U.S., coalition, or merchant vessels as a result of these actions.
These systems were assessed to pose an imminent threat to U.S. forces, coalition forces, and merchant vessels operating in the region. The measures taken were aimed at safeguarding the freedom of navigation and enhancing the security of international waters for U.S., coalition, and merchant vessels.–News Desk
