Herzogs Pray at Western Wall for Hostages’ Safe Return

President Isaac Herzog and First Lady Michal Herzog visited the Western Wall to pray for the safe return of hostages, the recovery of the wounded, and the unity of Israel. Their heartfelt prayers included hopes for Romi, Emily, and Doron, as well as all those still in captivity.

“With God’s help, we will see every last hostage return, as promised in the agreement,” President Herzog stated. He acknowledged the pain of families enduring these dark days, particularly as the deal involves releasing murderers, but emphasized, “There is no greater mitzvah than redeeming captives.”

The President placed a note in the Wall, calling on divine mercy to guide captives from distress to relief, from darkness to light, and to swift redemption. His prayer extended to the success of IDF soldiers, the healing of the wounded, and the resilience of the Israeli people.

The visit was a powerful symbol of solidarity and hope during turbulent times. Herzog urged national unity and strength in the face of hardship, reaffirming the nation’s commitment to bringing all captives home.

As the people of Israel rebuild after upheaval, the Herzog family’s prayer resonated as a call for faith, healing, and unwavering determination. Their words captured the collective longing for redemption, peace, and renewed strength for the nation.
