Israeli Forces Arrest 20 Palestinians

Two Children Among West Bank Detainees

Israeli forces detained at least 20 Palestinians, including two children, during overnight raids across several areas of the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

In Jenin governorate, seven Palestinians were arrested, among them two children, during raids on different towns and villages. In Hebron, two people were detained from Hebron city and the al-Fawwar refugee camp.

Three Palestinians were arrested in Nablus after Israeli forces conducted raids and searched several homes. In Bethlehem, two Palestinians were detained from the Aida and Dheisheh refugee camps.

Meanwhile, six Palestinians were arrested in Tulkarem governorate after Israeli forces raided and searched their residences.

Israeli military operations in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, have intensified since October 2023. The operations have reportedly involved arrests, killings, displacement of residents, destruction of homes and expansion of Israeli settlements.
