Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, speaking at COP29 in Baku, emphasized the need to pursue all diplomatic avenues to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict in line with the UN Charter. Responding to a Russian TASS news inquiry about settlement prospects following Donald Trump’s election victory, Radev noted that many Europeans hope for a swift end to the conflict, stating, “A war in Europe’s center is an issue for us all.” He also mentioned that any renewal of energy cooperation with Russia hinges on dialogue between the European Commission and the Kremlin.
