Doha summit shows support for Qatar

Tel Aviv strike escalates Israeli banditry

Arab Islamic Summit in Doha Shows Strong Support for Qatar

Erdogan condemns Israeli strike and calls for united Islamic action

ISTANBUL | Sept 15, 2025 — Leaders gathered in Doha for an Arab-Islamic summit that highlighted strong support for Qatar after Israel’s recent strike on the city.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the attack targeted Hamas’ negotiating team in Qatar. According to him, the strike marked a dangerous new stage of what he called “Israeli banditry.”

“We face a mindset that thrives on chaos and blood,” Erdogan told delegates. He argued that the Netanyahu government seeks to extend massacres in Palestine while spreading instability across the region.

Erdogan calls for stronger measures

To counter this, Erdogan urged Muslim nations to intensify diplomatic pressure and adopt tougher sanctions. He stressed that the Islamic world has both the resources and influence to block Israel’s expansion. In addition, he said economic restrictions should be used to limit Israeli power.

“Türkiye will continue the struggle until a Palestinian state is formed,” Erdogan declared. “That state must be based on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.”

Türkiye’s partnership with Qatar

Erdogan also reaffirmed Türkiye’s commitment to Qatar. He described the Gulf nation as a “brotherly ally” and promised to share defense technology when needed. Moreover, he encouraged closer cooperation among Muslim states to prepare for future challenges.

Push for accountability and justice

Erdogan insisted that Israeli leaders must face justice for their actions. He accused them of promoting the “Greater Israel” idea while ignoring both international law and the UN Charter. Therefore, he called on Muslim countries to support the genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice.

The path forward

Looking ahead, Erdogan stressed that genocide, displacement, and division cannot be tolerated. He expressed hope that the summit’s decisions would lead to concrete steps against Israel. Finally, he underlined the need to monitor these measures closely to ensure real results.
