ICC Champions Trophy Lands in Pakistan

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has sent the Champions Trophy from Dubai to Islamabad as Pakistan prepares to host the tournament from February 19 to March 9, 2025.

Starting on November 16, the trophy tour will begin in Skardu Valley and will travel through major cities hosting Champions Trophy matches. A key moment in the tour will be the trophy’s stop at the K2 Base Camp before concluding on November 24.

Unusually, this year’s tour begins without an official tournament schedule, which is typically announced months in advance, as seen with recent Men’s T20 and ODI World Cups.

The schedule was initially set to be revealed on November 11 in Lahore but was delayed due to India’s reluctance to play in Pakistan. Consequently, the ICC has yet to finalize and release the match dates, keeping fans eagerly waiting.
