Monaco Dominates ALBA Berlin in EuroLeague, 105-90

Monaco, the current Turkish Airlines EuroLeague leaders, triumphed over ALBA Berlin with a commanding 105-90 victory in Germany on Thursday.

Mike James led the charge for Monaco, putting up a game-high 23 points, along with seven assists, while his teammate Matthew Strazel added 18 points. Forward Jaron Blossomgame contributed 17 points as well, helping to secure the win for the French team.

On the other side, ALBA Berlin’s top performers were Yanni Wetzell and Matt Thomas, both scoring 17 points. Despite their efforts, the German side continues to struggle, sitting at the bottom of the EuroLeague standings with just three wins from 19 games.

Monaco now boasts an impressive 13-6 record, keeping them firmly in first place in the standings. Meanwhile, Olympiacos from Greece, who are tied with Monaco at 13-6, also secured a 92-85 victory over Zalgiris Kaunas in Lithuania. Olympiacos’ Sasha Vezenkov was the game’s standout with 24 points.

Elsewhere in Thursday’s EuroLeague action, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan defeated LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne 75-66, and Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade edged out Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz 75-73 in a nail-biting finish. The competition continues to heat up as teams jockey for position in the regular-season standings.
