Bat Yam unveils President Donald Trump Promenade

Netanyahu Pays Tribute to Trump at Bat Yam Promenade Ceremony

Bat Yam, Israel – September 10, 2025 – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu joined city officials on Wednesday to lay the cornerstone for the new President Donald Trump Promenade in Bat Yam. The ceremony was attended by US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, Mayor Tzvi Brot, and members of the Bat Yam City Council.

Honoring a Close Ally

Netanyahu described Trump as “the greatest friend Israel has ever had in the White House.” He said the promenade will serve as a tribute to Trump’s consistent support for Israel and his efforts to strengthen ties between the two nations.

Trump’s Vision of the Coast

The Prime Minister also shared personal conversations he had with Trump about Israel’s coastline. Trump, he said, admired Israel’s beaches and often mentioned Gaza’s shoreline. According to Netanyahu, Trump believed the area could one day represent peace and prosperity rather than conflict.

“President Trump is absolutely right,” Netanyahu said. “This land has the potential to become a place of life and opportunity, not violence.”

A Symbol of Partnership

Local leaders echoed Netanyahu’s words, calling the promenade a symbol of the enduring friendship between Israel and the United States. Mayor Brot added that dedicating the landmark to Trump reflects Bat Yam’s gratitude for his role in strengthening bilateral relations.
