Israeli PM Reaffirms Military and Diplomatic Strategy to Secure Hostages and Counter Regional Threats

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, addressing the government on March 30, 2025, outlined a three-pronged strategy against Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. He emphasized that military pressure on Hamas in Gaza is yielding results, both in weakening its operational capabilities and in facilitating hostage negotiations. Netanyahu dismissed claims that Israel is not engaging in negotiations, affirming that talks are ongoing under military pressure.

Regarding Hezbollah, he stressed Israel’s uncompromising stance against threats from Lebanon, holding the Lebanese state accountable for any aggression. On the Houthis, Netanyahu praised the United States for its strong military response while affirming Israel’s commitment to self-defense. He reiterated Israel’s alliance with the U.S. as a key pillar of national security.
