Saudi Arabia Confirms Zil Hajj Moon Sighting; Hajj Set for June 5
Saudi Arabia has officially announced that the Zil Hajj moon was sighted on May 28, marking the beginning of the Islamic month. As a result, the annual Hajj pilgrimage will take place on June 5, with Eid al-Adha falling on June 6.
The United Arab Emirates also confirmed the moon sighting and declared June 6 as the date for Eid al-Adha celebrations. Millions of Muslims worldwide are expected to observe the religious holiday and pilgrimage, which hold deep spiritual significance in Islam.
