Spain PM discusses Gaza, Lebanon With Leaders

On Friday, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez spoke with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to address the escalating crisis in Gaza and Lebanon due to Israeli attacks. Sanchez emphasized the need for a ceasefire in Gaza and reiterated Spain’s commitment to regional peace, highlighting the importance of the two-state solution. He also stressed the role of Euro-Arab cooperation in achieving peace. Spain plans to update its lawmakers on the situation on November 28. Additionally, Spain, alongside Ireland and Norway, recognized Palestine as a state in May and has supported the ICC’s actions against Israeli leaders accused of war crimes in Gaza.
