Two individuals involved in Republican US Senate candidate Mike Rogers’ campaign in Michigan are registered as foreign agents working on behalf of Israel, according to an investigation published by Drop Site News on Sunday.
Campaign spokesperson Abigail Ronson and communications specialist Jesse Stokes have reportedly been involved in Israeli government communications projects while simultaneously working for Rogers through political consulting firm Convergence Media.
According to the report, Ronson registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) in May 2026 for activities connected to Havas Media Network through Clocktower X LLC. The company has links to Brad Parscale, who previously managed Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
Her registration identifies her responsibilities as strategic communications, media planning and related services for an Israeli government initiative operating in the United States. The project reportedly aims to counter antisemitism.
Stokes registered under the same Havas Media contract in October 2025 and has reportedly prepared several press releases for Rogers’ Senate campaign.
Drop Site News further reported that Ronson is one of 14 Convergence Media employees working as subcontractors on a $46.5 million Israeli government communications initiative. The project reportedly involves social media outreach and the use of artificial intelligence in communication campaigns.
Federal Election Commission records indicate that Rogers’ campaign has paid millions of dollars to Convergence Media during the current election cycle.
The report also raised questions about Ronson’s involvement in the campaign. Although the campaign previously denied that she was an official staff member, she has reportedly contacted journalists through an email address associated with Rogers’ campaign.
Neither Ronson nor Stokes immediately responded to requests for comment. Another campaign spokesperson also did not answer questions about whether campaign officials knew that the two individuals were registered foreign agents while working on the political operation.
