On August 9, 2024, the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group and Italy’s Cavour Carrier Strike Group sailed in formation in the Pacific Ocean, marking a historic occasion as the two navies conducted their first-ever bilateral multi-large deck event in the Indo-Pacific region.
