2 Killed in Israeli Strikes on Gaza Despite Ceasefire

Two Palestinians, including a child, were killed and 19 others injured in Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, according to Palestinian medical officials, in what authorities described as the latest violation of the ceasefire that has been in effect since October 10, 2025.

Medical sources said an Israeli drone targeted an electric bicycle on Asdaa Street in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. The strike killed two people and wounded 17 others, several of whom were reported to have sustained varying degrees of injuries.

In northern Gaza, another drone strike hit the roof of a house near the Abu Sharkh roundabout in the Al-Faluja area, west of the Jabalia refugee camp, leaving one Palestinian critically injured.

A separate Israeli drone attack struck a residential home in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City, seriously injuring another civilian, according to medical sources.

Local witnesses said all of Tuesday’s strikes occurred in areas that remain outside Israeli military control under the terms of the existing ceasefire agreement.

The Gaza Health Ministry said Israeli ceasefire violations have resulted in the deaths of 1,053 Palestinians and left 3,406 others injured since the truce came into force in October 2025.

There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military regarding the reported strikes.
