US Strikes Severely Damage Iran Military Capabilities Trump Says

Trump Says Iran Naval Forces Crippled After US Operations

Trump Says US Forces Destroyed Most Iranian Naval Assets

ISTANBUL: US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that American forces have destroyed Iran’s naval fleet and damaged most of its missile launch platforms, claiming the operations dealt a major blow to Tehran’s military strength.

Speaking in an interview with Fox News, Trump stated that US military actions have significantly weakened Iran’s ability to operate in the region.

“We have sunk all Iranian ships and destroyed most missile launch platforms, with only about 20% remaining,” Trump said during the interview.

Military Campaign Targets Key Infrastructure

Meanwhile, tensions between the United States and Iran continue to rise following a series of strikes and counterstrikes across the region. According to Trump, US forces have focused their operations on dismantling Iran’s missile infrastructure and naval capabilities.

These assets form a central part of Iran’s regional military strategy. Therefore, US officials believe that targeting them would limit Tehran’s ability to project power across the Middle East.

Trump Describes Strike as Major Blow

Furthermore, Trump described the military campaign as one of the most damaging operations ever carried out against Iran’s armed forces.

“We dealt Iran an extremely severe blow—something no other country has done,” he said. He also claimed that Iran had been planning to expand its influence and potentially dominate parts of the Middle East.

As tensions remain high, analysts expect the situation between the United States and Iran to remain volatile in the coming weeks.
