Allied Navies Conduct Pacific Vanguard Exercises in Philippine Sea

Warships from the Royal Canadian Navy, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, South Korean Navy, and U.S. Navy sailed together in the Philippine Sea on August 26, 2024, as part of the Pacific Vanguard exercise. Navy EA-18G Growler aircraft flew overhead during the drills, which are designed to enhance cooperation and skills in maritime operations and complex maneuvering scenarios.
