Mississippi: The U.S. Border Patrol’s New Orleans Sector successfully conducted Operation Magnolia, an interdiction effort along Interstate 20 near Pearl, Mississippi. The operation led to the arrest of 25 individuals for unlawful entry.
Texas: At the Hidalgo Port of Entry, CBP officers apprehended a man wanted in Michigan for criminal sexual conduct. The suspect was identified during routine inspections on March 26 and was taken into custody for extradition.
Arizona: In Sasabe, Arizona, Border Patrol agents arrested a registered sex offender attempting to cross illegally. Surveillance technology helped agents track and intercept a group of migrants early Saturday morning, leading to the suspect’s capture.
These enforcement actions reflect continued efforts by Border Patrol and CBP to enhance border security and public safety.
