Victoria police are seeking public assistance in locating 36-year-old Joel Reed, after he allegedly left a halfway house without authorization over the weekend.
According to the Victoria Police Department, Reed left his community residential facility late on September 25 or early September 26. He is now considered unlawfully at large and is the subject of a Canada-wide arrest warrant.
Police described Reed as approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 198 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has several identifiable tattoos, including praying hands and barbed wire on the right side of his neck, a rose on the left side of his neck, and a bird and sun tattoo on his right hand.
VicPD is asking anyone with information about Reed’s whereabouts to contact police.
