Mass Demonstrations Reported in Multiple Countries

Istanbul — Large pro-Palestine demonstrations took place across several European countries on Saturday, attracting significant public participation.

In the United Kingdom, organizers from the Palestine Solidarity Campaign reported that more than half a million people marched in London. The demonstration also included groups such as the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and the Stop the War Coalition. Protesters voiced strong opposition to Israeli military actions in Lebanon and expressed concern over the US-Israeli conflict involving Iran.

Moreover, participants carried banners with slogans such as “Freedom for Palestine,” “Stop Bombing Iran,” and “Stop Arming Israel.” Many also raised concerns about growing Islamophobia.

Coordinated Protests Across France

Meanwhile, demonstrations spread across France following a coordinated call by nearly 90 organizations. Activists demanded Palestinian self-determination, the right of return for refugees, and an end to occupation and what they described as apartheid policies.

In Paris, thousands gathered to support the cause. At the same time, around 1,000 people joined protests in Angers, according to local media reports. Organizers also called for sanctions against Israel and urged an immediate and permanent ceasefire.

Rallies Continue in Northern and Central Europe

In Stockholm, Sweden, protesters assembled in the capital to call for a free Palestine and to demand an end to ongoing violence. Similarly, demonstrators in Vienna gathered after the Platform Palestine Solidarity Austria urged action against what it described as US and Israeli aggression linked to Iran.

Demonstration Held in the Netherlands

In the Netherlands, several hundred people gathered in The Hague. The protest, organized by the New Peace Movement, encouraged the Dutch government to support de-escalation efforts. Protesters also called on both the United States and Israel to halt military actions immediately.
