Libya: UAE FM praises Egypt calls for Libya ceasefire

Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan who’s the Foreign Minister of United Arab Emirates expressed the keenness of Emirates in order to culminate the battle in Libya. He further told that the initiative which Egypt is planning to happen aimed to put in a place ceasefire seems and considered to be a shining beacon of hope to achieve that goal.

Al Nahyan while calling Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry told that he appreciates and pays value to the Egypt’s efforts which made a direct leading to the Cairo Declaration that seeks to reach a ceasefire and a revert to the political process which is making an inception today.

He further paid a call to Government of National Accord (GNA) along its UAE-backed rival the Libyan National Army (LNA) in order to make a response to the Cairo Declaration.

Yesterday, Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani who’s Foreign Minister of Qatar expressed that General Khalifa Haftar who is the LNA chief Brigadier after having a loss of militarily, he only considers political answers to the Libya crisis, adding that Haftar has always been using violence as a chosen option
