Okinawa, Japan – On July 11, 2024, a U.S. Marine performed a jump from a UH-1Y Venom helicopter during a helicopter rope suspension techniques sustainment exercise at the Kin Blue Training Area. This exercise is part of ongoing training to maintain and enhance the operational readiness of Marines stationed in Okinawa.
