
In Laredo, Texas, Customs and Border Protection officers at the Colombia-Solidarity Bridge discovered methamphetamine valued at over $1.3 million hidden within a commercial stone shipment. The discovery was made during a secondary inspection of a box truck on April 1. A total of 151 pounds of the substance were found across seven packages following a detailed scan. Port Director Albert Flores highlighted the seizure as a testament to the officers’ vigilance and the critical nature of border security efforts.
