Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a firm commitment to accelerate firefighting efforts and assist affected communities during his visit to the Fire Management Forward Command Post amid raging wildfires across Israel.
During his on-site briefing with emergency response officials, Netanyahu expressed his full support for the firefighters and first responders battling the blazes. He emphasized the government’s determination to provide immediate aid to impacted areas and ensure rapid recovery.
“We are fully mobilized,” Netanyahu stated, praising the coordination between the National Fire and Rescue Authority, police, the IDF, and local municipalities. He reassured the public that all necessary resources are being deployed to control the fires and protect lives and property.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the importance of public cooperation, urging citizens to follow safety directives and report any signs of arson or fire outbreaks.
In response to the growing concerns, Netanyahu said the government would not hesitate to allocate additional resources and manpower, including the use of firefighting aircraft and international assistance if needed.
“We stand united with the affected families and communities,” he said, pledging swift recovery and long-term support for rebuilding efforts.
The wildfires, intensified by dry weather and high winds, have prompted evacuations and caused significant environmental damage. Authorities continue to monitor hotspots across various regions, working tirelessly to contain the flames and minimize further loss.
