Pakistan Seeks Peace but Will Defend If War Is Imposed: Military Spokesperson

DG ISPR: Pakistan Prepared for War Amid India’s False Narrative Campaigns

Pakistan Committed to Peace but Ready to Respond if Conflict Is Forced: DG ISPR

Rawalpindi – Pakistan’s military has reiterated its commitment to peace while warning it remains fully prepared to respond to any aggression if conflict is imposed.

Speaking at a press briefing, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated, “We desire peace in the region, but if war is thrust upon us, we are ready to defend the nation at all costs.”

He criticized India for repeatedly promoting what he described as “fabricated narratives” to rationalize its policies and military actions. “India has a pattern of creating false stories every few years to legitimize its actions,” he added.

The DG ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s defense forces maintain full operational readiness, underscoring their ability to safeguard the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He also called on the international community to recognize and address what he termed India’s misinformation tactics.
