A Palestinian man was shot by Israeli forces during a raid in the northern occupied West Bank on Monday, while Israeli forces and settlers were also reported to have carried out attacks and operations in several other areas.
According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, the man was wounded in the abdomen and thigh during a raid in Qabatiya, south of Jenin. Israeli forces reportedly prevented ambulance crews from reaching him for several minutes before allowing him to be taken to a hospital.
In the Nablus area, local sources reported that Israeli settlers took olives from Palestinian farmland in Beita shortly before the annual harvest. They also reportedly attacked residents in Khirbet al-Marajim and attempted to enter a home while a family was inside.
In the southern West Bank, armed settlers reportedly attacked Palestinian homes and residents in Halhul, north of Hebron, while Israeli forces were deployed in the area. Two Palestinians were also detained in the Hebron region.
Wafa reported that in Jinba, south of Hebron, Israeli troops ordered a Palestinian family to remove tents placed on the remains of homes demolished several days earlier. The family’s vehicle was also reportedly confiscated.
According to Palestinian figures cited in the report, attacks across the occupied West Bank have intensified since the start of Israel’s war in Gaza on October 8, 2023, with 1,206 Palestinians reportedly killed, including 254 children, around 13,350 injured and more than 24,600 arrested.
