Following directives from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz, the IDF carried out a powerful strike today (Sunday, April 27, 2025) on infrastructure in Beirut used by Hezbollah to store precision missiles, posing a serious threat to Israel.
Israel emphasized it will not tolerate Hezbollah’s attempts to strengthen its capabilities anywhere in Lebanon and made clear that Beirut’s Dahiyya quarter will not serve as a safe haven for the terrorist group.
The Israeli government also stated that Lebanon holds full responsibility for preventing such threats and reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the safe return of northern residents to their homes.
