Iran Denies US Claims Military Strength Fully Ready

Iranian Armed Forces Assert Battlefield Strength Strategic Readiness

Iran has rejected US claims that its air defense systems have been destroyed, asserting that its armed forces remain fully prepared and capable of responding to any external threats.

Abolfazl Shekarchi, spokesman for Iran’s Armed Forces, stated via state broadcaster IRIB that reports suggesting a weakening of Iran’s military capabilities are false. He emphasized that battlefield realities, rather than external claims, should be considered when assessing the situation.

Shekarchi said Iran continues to enhance its military strength despite ongoing pressures, adding that the country is now more capable than at the beginning of what he described as an imposed conflict.

His remarks came after US President Donald Trump claimed that Iranian military capabilities had been significantly damaged through joint air operations conducted by the United States and Israel.

The Iranian spokesperson also dismissed assertions that missile stockpiles had been depleted, arguing that such claims are intended to gather intelligence on Iran’s defense readiness. He insisted that Iranian forces remain fully prepared and have demonstrated their capability in previous engagements.

Shekarchi further stated that while Iran has suffered losses, it has also inflicted greater damage on opposing forces.

He reaffirmed Iran’s support for Hezbollah in Lebanon and said the regional “resistance front” remains unified against Israel and its allies.

When asked about the potential closure of the Bab al-Mandab Strait, he said Iran has multiple strategic options and would disclose its response if necessary.
