U.S. President Donald Trump has announced what he described as a landmark agreement aimed at advancing peace in Gaza, outlining a phased plan that includes the disarmament of Hamas and other armed groups alongside the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from the territory.
According to Trump, the agreement will be implemented in carefully coordinated stages. As disarmament progresses, Israeli troops are expected to withdraw from Gaza, while security responsibilities will gradually be transferred to an International Stabilization Force working alongside a newly established Palestinian police force.
Trump described the agreement as a significant step toward restoring long-term stability and security in Gaza.
