Boulos, who played a key role in garnering support from Lebanese and Arab Americans for Trump, is well-connected in both Lebanon and the U.S. His family has deep roots in Lebanese politics, with his father and grandfather holding influential positions, and his father-in-law being a major backer of the Free Patriotic Movement, a Christian party aligned with Hezbollah.
His role during the campaign was particularly important in states like Michigan, where he helped shift Arab American and Muslim votes towards Trump, especially by addressing concerns over Biden’s policies in Israel, Gaza, and Lebanon. Boulos’ outreach included private meetings with influential community members and using his connections to reassure voters about Trump’s commitment to ending Middle Eastern conflicts.
Boulos, born in Lebanon and a U.S. citizen, has a history of business dealings in Nigeria and was briefly involved in Lebanese politics, though he faced limitations in his home country’s sectarian system. His new role could give him significant influence in U.S. political circles, particularly in matters related to the Middle East.
