The Pakistan Army intercepted and destroyed an Indian quadcopter that violated airspace near the Line of Control (LoC) on April 29, 2025. The incident took place in the Manawar sector of Bhimber district.
Military sources confirmed the drone was engaged in unauthorized surveillance when it was shot down. This marks another breach of Pakistani airspace, continuing a series of similar violations in recent months.
Officials condemned the intrusion as a serious violation of sovereignty, warning that such provocations would be met with immediate defensive action. The Pakistan Army remains on high alert to prevent future incursions along the sensitive border zone.
