Xi Jinping Arrives in North Korea for Rare High-Level Talks with Kim Jong Un

Xi last visited North Korea in 2019, making him the first Chinese president in over a decade to do so at that time. His return signals a renewed effort by Beijing to maintain influence on the Korean Peninsula and manage regional stability amid changing power alignments.
