Bahrain Refinery Operations Continue Amid Iranian Strikes

Bapco Energies Declares Force Majeure Amid Iranian Attacks

ISTANBUL — Bahrain’s Bapco Energies announced a force majeure for operations affected by ongoing Iranian attacks, according to the Bahrain News Agency.

A recent strike targeted one of Bapco Refining’s refinery units, an affiliate of the group. Despite the disruption, the company confirmed that all local market needs remain secured under pre-established contingency plans. These measures ensure continuous supply and fulfillment of domestic demand without interruption.

Company Response and Communication

Bapco Energies said it will continue updating partners and relevant entities with the latest developments, maintaining transparency and operational stability.

Regional Tensions Escalate

The announcement comes amid escalating tensions in the Gulf region. On February 28, the United States and Israel launched joint attacks on Iran, resulting in more than 1,200 deaths, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Iran has responded with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and Gulf countries hosting U.S. military assets, intensifying regional volatility.
