Chinese Ambassador Marks 74 Years of China-Pakistan Ties, Highlights Future Cooperation
Islamabad, Pakistan – Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong celebrated 74 years of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan at an event held at the Silkroad Culture Center. The ambassador emphasized the enduring strength of the bilateral partnership and outlined plans for deepening cooperation in trade, infrastructure, and cultural exchange.
Speaking to officials, academics, and members of the diplomatic community, Jiang described the China-Pakistan relationship as an “ironclad friendship” that has consistently evolved to meet regional and global challenges. He reaffirmed China’s commitment to supporting Pakistan’s development through initiatives like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The ceremony also featured cultural performances and exhibitions symbolizing the shared heritage and future aspirations of both nations.
