Hamas has reportedly agreed to a list of 34 hostages proposed by Israel in a potential exchange, with conditions set for an Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and a permanent ceasefire, according to a Hamas official. However, Israeli authorities have stated that Hamas has not yet provided any names for a potential deal.
On the same day, Israeli airstrikes killed at least 14 Palestinians in separate raids across Gaza, pushing the weekend death toll to 102, according to Palestinian medics. The airstrikes targeted homes and a police station in al-Nuseirat, Jabalia, and Khan Younis, areas where Hamas militants were believed to be operating.
The violence continues to escalate, with the Gaza Health Ministry reporting that at least 88 Palestinians were killed and over 200 others wounded in the past 24 hours. One of the deadliest attacks struck the Zuhd family home in Gaza City, where seven lives were lost and others were feared trapped.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military took responsibility for bombing more than 100 targets across Gaza, claiming to have killed dozens of Hamas militants and destroyed rocket launch sites.
Diplomatic efforts for a ceasefire have intensified, with Qatar and Egypt mediating, while the United States pressures Hamas to engage in negotiations. Despite these efforts, the future of a potential exchange remains uncertain as the conflict continues to ravage Gaza, where over 45,000 Palestinians have been killed since the start of the war.
