
Jerusalem- the health ministry announced, “Israelis violating coronavirus quarantine could face up to seven years in prison”.
The ministry stated in a declaration that more than 50 people visited the East Asian regions has not completed a mandatory 14-day period of quarantine after coming back.
The statement said, “Those who violate the self-quarantine in their homes out of negligence will be sentenced to three years”.
The Israelis also required their citizens to report those who are violating the quarantine rules.
The interior ministry bars the foreigners from coming into the country who have visited Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong including Macao.
