Israeli Forces Target Palestinian Aid Convoy in Gaza

Investigation Finds 900 Bullets Fired at Gaza Medics

Investigation Reveals Over 900 Bullets Fired at Gaza Medics in 2025

GAZA — Israeli soldiers fired more than 900 bullets at a convoy of clearly marked Palestinian emergency vehicles last March, according to a new investigation, before advancing and killing surviving aid workers, some reportedly at close range.

The joint investigation by independent research agency Forensic Architecture and audio analysis group Earshot provides the most detailed reconstruction to date of the massacre in Tal as-Sultan, a neighborhood west of Rafah in southern Gaza. The incident occurred on March 23, 2025.

The report indicates that Israeli forces deliberately targeted the convoy of medics, firing hundreds of rounds before moving in. Survivors were shot in what the investigation describes as “execution-style” killings at close range.

This investigation sheds new light on one of the deadliest attacks on aid workers in Gaza, providing both forensic evidence and audio reconstructions to document the sequence of events.
