Tokyo- Japan as compared to US and Europe, has not experienced the large outbreak so far as they did despite its softer bans imposed as restrictions.
However, Japan has reported 16,600 confirmed case from the pandemic and recorded according to the statistics 850 deaths.
The lifting of the emergency in Tokyo was approved by the experts on a government-commissioned panel. Tokyo neighboring Kanagawa, Chiba and Saitama prefectures, and in Hokkaido to the north, which had been under the emergency declaration after it was removed in most of Japan earlier this month, has been declared free from the emergency.
