Ceasefire Violations Persist Lebanon Soldiers Die Airstrike Attacks

Israel Strikes Lebanon Kill Two Soldiers Escalation Intensifies

The Lebanese Army has reported that two of its soldiers were killed in separate Israeli airstrikes carried out across eastern and southern Lebanon within the past 24 hours, marking continued violations of the ceasefire.

In a statement shared on social media platform X, the army said one soldier’s body was recovered after an Israeli strike hit an area near the Qaraoun Lake Dam in the western Bekaa region. The attack occurred while he was stationed nearby, and the strike also resulted in multiple hits on the area throughout Tuesday. The army added that several paramedics on a rescue mission were also killed during the operation.

In a separate incident, another Lebanese soldier was killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Kfarman-Khardali road in southern Lebanon, which connects Kfarman in Nabatieh to the Khardali region.

Despite a US-mediated ceasefire agreement that came into effect on April 17 and was later extended to July, Israeli airstrikes have reportedly continued across Lebanon. According to Lebanese official figures, at least 3,269 people have been killed since March 2 amid ongoing escalation.
