North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s sister Kim Yo Jong raised severe threats against South Korea on Saturday. She stressed that the ties with South Korean officials should no more remain as active as before and would soon the next steps would be taken accordingly. “It’s time to cut the ties”, she said, according to the Korean Central News Agency.
She further asked the army for planning fundamental steps against the “enemy” South Korea’s administration, adding that there remains a collapse of a liaison bureau at the border between both nations.
After the declaration of the head of the North Korean foreign ministry’s North America Department Kwon Jong Gun, calling anti-nuclear weapons statements of South Korea seem unnecessary and would culminate those discourses, the statement of Kim appeared on immediate basis.
Moreover, there was an announcement from Pyongyang on June 9 revealing that it is on its last decision to cut off and shut down all communication lines with South Korea. While, there was no answer to a telephone call June 9 by military officials of North Korea which was made by South Korea, since 2018 it’s considered the first such instance.
