Israel Targets Houthi Terror Sites Under Netanyahu’s Supervision
May 5, 2025 | Defense Correspondent
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu monitored and oversaw military operations at the Air Force Command Center during targeted strikes on Houthi terrorist positions in Yemen. The offensive, aimed at neutralizing threats posed by the Iran-backed militant group, highlights Israel’s intensified efforts to counter regional terrorism and safeguard national security.
The operation targeted specific Houthi assets believed to be involved in recent hostile actions. Netanyahu’s direct involvement from the command center emphasized the strategic importance of the mission and reinforced Israel’s zero-tolerance stance against external threats.
“Israel will not allow terrorist entities to endanger its citizens or destabilize the region,” said a senior military official following the strikes.
The attack marks a significant escalation in Israel’s regional counterterrorism operations and reflects growing concerns over Houthi military capabilities and their broader alliance with Iran.
