TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland to Showcase Türkiyes Maritime Technology

The second edition of TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland is scheduled to take place from Thursday through Sunday at the Golcuk Naval Shipyard Command in Kocaeli, northwestern Türkiye. The four-day event will remain open to visitors from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The festival will focus on maritime and underwater technologies while highlighting Türkiye’s growing expertise in naval systems and its wider defense industry.

During the event, specialized units of the Turkish Naval Forces, including the Underwater Offense Command, Underwater Defense Command and naval aviation units, will conduct live demonstrations for visitors.

Participants will also have the opportunity to explore several prominent Turkish Navy vessels. These include the amphibious assault ship TCG Anadolu, frigate TCG Istanbul, presidential yacht TCG Savarona and submarines TCG Murat Reis and TCG 18 Mart.

The program will feature exhibitions and activities centered on defense projects, particularly Türkiye’s efforts to design and produce indigenous naval platforms, equipment and technological systems.

The inaugural Blue Homeland edition was held at the Istanbul Naval Shipyard Command from August 28 to 31 last year and attracted approximately 175,000 visitors.

TEKNOFEST is Türkiye’s leading technology, aviation and aerospace festival. Its events are designed to promote technological innovation and inspire young people to pursue education and careers in science, engineering and advanced technology.
