Türkiye held a military ceremony to honour the Libyan army chief who was killed in a recent crash, underscoring close defence ties between the two countries.

The ceremony took place at an airbase near Ankara and was attended by Turkish Defence Minister Yasar Guler and Chief of the General Staff Selcuk Bayraktaroglu.
