7 dead in Kabul suicide attack

Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development targeted 2nd time in 2 months
KABUL, Afghanistan: At least seven people were killed in a suicide attack on Afghanistan’s Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in the capital Kabul on Sunday, officials and local media confirmed.
Najib Danish, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, informed Anadolu Agency a lone suicide attacker detonated his explosives close to the entrance in Darul Aman area of the city. He confirmed seven people — most of them employees of the ministry — lost lives and three more were wounded in this attack.
There has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack. According to local Tolo News, it appeared that the suicide bomber might have targeted a vehicle carrying foreigners who were leaving the ministry at around 4.30 p.m. (1200GMT).
The same ministry was target of a similar attack last month, killing 12 people and injuring more than 30.–AA
