8723 fake social media accounts eliminated, FIA tells NA body

ISLAMABAD: Federal investigation organisation (FIA) officials said on Monday that 8,723 fake accounts on social media systems have been eliminated thus far.
The intelligence business enterprise officials have been briefing to a consultation of the country wide assembly’s standing Committee on facts generation in Islamabad today.
It turned into instructed that the FIA cybercrime wing had obtained typical 29,577 court cases concerning social media of which 9,822 associated with fake accounts.
15,433 court cases pertain to the facebook and 6067 for Twitter, FIA officials stated.
