CBP Extends Global Entry Hours at U.S. Travel Hubs

Faster Clearance: Global Entry Centers Add New Hours

U.S. Customs Expands Global Entry Interview Hours at Key International Travel Hubs

Date: May 2025
Location: United States

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has announced extended office hours at six Global Entry Enrollment Centers across the United States, aiming to enhance traveler convenience and reduce appointment wait times.

The expanded hours apply to locations in New Orleans, Nashville, Memphis, and three other major U.S. cities. These centers process in-person interviews required for Global Entry, a program designed to expedite customs clearance for pre-approved, low-risk international travelers entering the United States.

Global Entry allows eligible travelers to bypass standard customs lines through automated kiosks at select U.S. airports. The program is part of CBP’s Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) and is available to citizens of several partner countries, including the UK, Germany, South Korea, and Mexico.

The move comes as international air travel continues to rebound, and demand for expedited customs processing grows. CBP encourages applicants to check appointment availability and location-specific schedules through the Trusted Traveler Programs website.

This update reflects CBP’s ongoing efforts to streamline international arrivals, improve processing efficiency, and enhance the global traveler experience.
