Eid al-Adha Violence Eastern Ramallah Incident

West Bank Clashes Israeli Incursions Intensify

Israeli forces reportedly attacked Palestinian families on the first day of Eid al-Adha in the eastern part of Ramallah, located in the occupied West Bank, according to a local activist.

Fares Kaabneh stated that families in the al-Khalaifa area of al-Taybeh village were targeted during the incident. He explained that livestock, including sheep and camels, were driven into residential areas, resulting in damage to property and destruction of trees around Palestinian homes. He also noted that homes were surrounded during the attack.

According to a monthly report by the Palestinian Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, approximately 540 attacks against Palestinians and their property were recorded across the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, in April alone.

Since the beginning of the Gaza conflict in October 2023, violence in the West Bank has reportedly intensified, particularly in rural and Bedouin communities near settlements and outposts. Palestinian officials state that around 1,200 Palestinians have been killed, over 12,600 injured, and approximately 33,000 displaced in the West Bank during this period.
