Hezbollah Casualties Reported Southern Lebanon Air Campaign Intensifies

Lebanon Conflict Escalation Ceasefire Violations Military Operations Surge

The Israeli military has stated that it carried out extensive strikes in southern Lebanon, claiming to have killed multiple Hezbollah members and destroyed more than 70 infrastructure sites within a 24-hour period, despite ongoing ceasefire conditions.

According to the Israeli army, the targeted locations included buildings allegedly used by Hezbollah for military operations against Israeli forces and northern Israel. No immediate response was issued by Hezbollah regarding these claims.

The military also reported a drone crash in southern Lebanon, noting that it caused no injuries to its personnel. Meanwhile, local Lebanese media reported continued airstrikes in the region, with at least five people killed.

The Lebanese army confirmed that one of its soldiers was seriously wounded in a drone attack in the south of the country. Reports further indicate that since March 2026, several Lebanese military personnel have been killed or injured in similar incidents.

Israel’s ongoing military campaign in Lebanon, which began earlier this year, has resulted in heavy casualties and widespread displacement, with thousands reported dead and over a million people forced from their homes.

Despite a ceasefire agreement reached in April, strikes and demolitions have reportedly continued in multiple areas, raising concerns about sustained violations and escalating regional tensions.
