South Korea appeals to citizens to remain indoors as the country is in “critical moment” against the coronavirus battle while there is a sharp increase in several coronavirus cases about 594, raising the total to 2,931.
South Korea is tackling the deadly virus as the largest number of cases have been reported in the region outside China, the epicenter of the outbreak.
More than 47 new cases have been identified in China, which confirms the national health commission, taking the count to 2,835. In mainland China, more 427 cases have been detected up from 327 a day before, making the total number of infections as 79,251. Globally more than 83,000 people have been affected.

She reported that the second patient is an adult woman seeking treatment in the hospital. California maintained it was scrutinizing people after confirmation of two coronavirus cases. The US issued a travel warning for Italy and appealed citizens to avoid unnecessary traveling to Italy over coronavirus fears. The statement said the centers for disease control and prevention “recommends that travelers avoid all nonessential travel to Italy. There is limited access to adequate medical care in affected areas”.
The US deiced to call off a meeting of Southeast Asian countries scheduled in March, amid coronavirus fears, reported two officials familiar with the matter.
