Three Dead After Fire Engulfs Pavilion in West London

At least three people have died after a fire broke out at a single-storey pavilion in White City, west London, prompting a large-scale emergency response from fire and rescue services.

The London Fire Brigade said it received 19 emergency calls starting at 6:52 pm local time reporting the blaze on New Zealand Way. In response, 15 fire engines and around 100 firefighters were deployed from multiple stations across the city, including North Kensington, Acton, and Chiswick.

Firefighters arrived to find a significant portion of the pavilion already engulfed in flames, with more than half of the structure damaged. Three men were rescued from the building and treated at the scene by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.

Despite efforts to save them, two of the men were pronounced dead at the scene. The third was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries.

Crews managed to bring the fire under control by 9:25 pm after intensive firefighting operations.

Authorities confirmed that an investigation is now underway to determine the cause of the blaze. The probe is being led by specialist fire investigators in coordination with the Metropolitan Police.

Officials have not yet released further details about the victims or the circumstances leading to the fire.
